ideas for a commissioned piece usually come from conversations
between director and composer. The piece is world-premiered
by your choir, and the name of your group and director
appear on the title page. Scores and parts are sent to
you by the composer. The cost of the commission varies
depending on the length of the piece and the financial
resources of the group seeking the commission.
